Our Vision Statement. Gainey Village is envisioned to be a highly desirable, residential community for the future, providing a premier living environment, through supportive, involved homeowners with a strategic plan.
Prior to the emergence of luxury communities within this region of Scottsdale, there were a number of well known ranches. Gainey Ranch was one of the more well known and thus the name Gainey has been adopted by a number of residential and commercial properties.
Gainey Village, a gated community located in Scottsdale, Arizona, also perpetuates the name Gainey. Daniel Gainey, the former owner, was an enterprising Minnesotan who made a personal fortune selling school class rings. He later became a friend and confidante of two U.S. presidents and, along the way, achieved international recognition for his consuming passion and second career, the breeding of Arabian horses. Gainey used his Scottsdale ranch to stable 30 or 40 of his 100 Arabian horses, grazed an average herd of 160 Hereford cattle and planted various agriculture crops.
Gainey Village is a luxury community created to enhance the benefits of the Scottsdale lifestyle. Surrounded by a number of superb golf courses, with the Hyatt Regency Resort just opposite from our entrance on Doubletree Ranch Road, the homes of Gainey Village provide private neighborhood living within a quiet resort atmosphere. Gainey Village homes consist of Villa and Casita styles of varying models. All are within a walled and gated community featuring a security system that includes manned and remote entry security, video surveillance, and a centrally monitored residential security system installed in each Gainey Village home.

There are paths and trails around Gainey Village that accommodate walking, jogging, bicycling and horseback riding. These are part of the City of Scottsdale's master-planned trail and pathway system. Outside of the community of Gainey Village, and just minutes from home, you are in the heart of Scottsdale and its unique urban lifestyle.
Many tall majestic date palms line Doubletree Ranch Road, the main public road intersecting Gainey Village. Our community features a beautiful tropical, green theme landscape. The Gainey Village Community Association has engaged Scottsdale Fine Landscaping who provide high-quality landscape maintenance service for all common areas and all front yards. In order to establish and sustain our consistent landscaping theme, there are landscaping rules and an approved tree list. At Gainey Village, the details are addressed in our CC&Rs and Landscape & Architectural Guidelines ensuring that we maintain the unique and pleasing nature of our community. We are truly one of the best.
